The new Atama Mundial #9 kimono is the successor to one of our most popular kimonos, the Mundial #7, regarded by many Brazilian Jiu Jitsu professional champions as the best BJJ kimono.

The Mundial #9 is of the same material and cut as the Mundial #7, the only difference being in the colors of the embroidery.
Both jacket and pants are made of a single piece of fabric. The lapel and pants are made with ripstop cotton, a technical fabric developed for military clothing providing much greater resistance to tearing and ripping.
The jacket is made from single-weave cotton.
This kimono features a simple design inspired by a classic Arte Suave style, as well as the Atama logo embroidered on shoulders and pants.

It is perfect for training and competition (approved for use in all CBJJ competitions). Atama is one of the most highly-regarded kimono brands in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu industry and this is their best kimono so far, having received excellent reviews from professionals in the noble art of "Brazilian Arte Suave".

This is a lightweight kimono, a size A2 weighing approximately 1600 grams. Keep in mind that, although we do weigh every kimono with a precision scale, the weight and size for a given model may vary according to factory. If in doubt, especially if you plan on entering a competition and are worried about breaking weight limits, call us right after placing your order and we will weigh your kimono to give you a more reliable value.
