Grappling / No Gi

Grappling is a fighting discipline based on grabs, projections, joint locks and chokes as well as a lack of blows. In 2006, Grappling was incorporated by the former International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles or FILA (now known as United World Wrestling or UWW) as a wrestling style and it is also known as Submission Wrestling or No Gi. It can be considered as a hybrid art between Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Olympic Wrestling with the goal of controlling an opponent and forcing them to admit that they can't break loose without injuring themselves.
