BJJ Kimono - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi
Brand: Kingz
Model: Comp 450 V6 Gi
Color: White
Material: Cotton

The Kingz Comp 450 BJJ kimono is one of the most representative kimonos from the brand Kingz and this is already its sixth version (V6). This kimono has been developed with competition in mind and tested by high performance athletes and Jiu Jitsu world champions such as Brazilian Leandro Lo.

The latest version of this Gi stands out for its lightness and resistance with a classic design with several logos embroidered on both the jacket and the trousers. Among these logos, the motto "Heavy lies the crown" on the front of the jacket stands out, which is a metaphor used by Shakespeare in his play Henry IV, part 2 and indicates that the person who wears the crown (the King) has to make difficult decisions.

Jacket features:

  • Made of Pearl Weave 450 GSM cotton.
  • Triple stitched seams, with reinforcements.
  • Made in one piece of the highest quality.
  • Vulcanised rubber lapels with antimicrobial treatment.

Trouser features:

  • Made from 10 oz. Drill cotton.
  • Double reinforced knee area.
  • Custom elastic drawstring for a perfect fit around your waist.
  • The Kingz Comp 450 V6 kimono meets all IBJJF regulations for use in competitions.

I found the V5 gi cut to be more tapered. The trousers are rather baggy despite being the same size. For the price i paid for the V6, i would have been happy buying the v5 for cheaper. Overall, decent gi, looks cool, but v5 is better imo.
